Greetings beloved in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank God for your life. Please note that we have reopened the church for services on Sunday September 13th at 10am and look forward to seeing you and yours. Kindly use masks covering your nose and mouth when coming. We will also have masks available. We do love you but will practise social distancing. Please stay home if you are sick and pray the personal pandemic prayers and God will heal you in Jesus name. For those of us who are not in the Barrie area or cannot make it to church do continue to pray along with us and for us. May God continue to keep and bless us all in Jesus name. Do refer to the Services page for more information. Also feel free to use the pages on Prayers for the month, Pandemic: Your balm of refuge and healing in uncertain times; and other materials on the website including the media section for specific prayers. Keep safe and God keep you in Jesus name.

Rest from anxiety

Rest from anxiety means having respite, freedom from worry, concern, pressure or coming to the end of a difficult situation. Moving into joy from sorrow, freedom from captivity; and in the meantime before this happens knowing that your situation will change for good, walking in that knowledge and trust, not fretting, but walking in confidence and gladness, because God will make a way, even where there seems to be no way.
God will give you rest from anxiety. Causes of anxiety may be real, imagined, or reasoned out. Whatever be the case, you are coming out of negative, troubling anxiety; in Jesus mighty name!
The Bible states in 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.’ This means you should let go of them, throw them over to Jesus. Give them up, because He cares, is concerned for your well being. God will make a way for you, see you through, help you, carry you and support you.
One of the major lessons we learn from the Book of Numbers is that ‘While it may be necessary to pass through wilderness experiences, one does not have to live there’. This is why I am convinced that no matter the wilderness experience you are going through, you are coming out! You will get to your promised land; you will reach your goal here and at the end of all things you will be decorated and celebrated in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb! (Revelation 19:7-9).
If you do not give up, the situation you are in is bound to give up.
Consider the victorious stories of Jesus and Glenn Cunningham. The wilderness experience must give way to the Promised Land experience; in Jesus mighty name! Amen and Amen!
