Deal With Your Herod

The name Herod means 'song of the hero' or descendant of the hero; laying claims to a significant beginning. You have a significant beginning; because God made you, allowed you to be alive in this season - for a purpose. It does not matter how your beginning was, is and has been, may you finish well!

Herod signifies the spirit that seeks to destroy great potential (Matthew 2:1-19); plans against and attempts to weaken the weak or destroy the helpless. Situations, plans working against you will fail, your persecutors will stumble and be greatly ashamed, in Jesus mighty name! Amen!

The spirit working in Athaliah, Jezebel and Herod are similar. They represent oppression, rejection, stagnation and attempts to silence good and great things in your life, career, family or destiny. The spirit of Athaliah, Jezebel and Herod will fail concerning you and your loved ones in Jesus name (Isaiah 19:3).

Athaliah destroyed her grandchildren after her son died,  to enable her have her own way. One of the grandchildren, Joash was saved from death as he was snatched away from among those to be slain. May famine and destruction not come near you and your precious ones, in Jesus mighty name.  Joash, the rightful king was kept hidden for 6 years while Athaliah reigned, without being called or crowned as king.

Joash  did rule and Athaliah was taken off the scene. May you ascend to your high places, and every hindrance removed in Jesus name.

And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. (Isaiah 49:23)

Joash was patient, remained a student of the Bible and allowed God to lift him in due time.
