Excuse Me Lord, I Have Some Questions!

Human:

Excuse me Lord, I have some questions.

The Lord:

Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! (John 14:14)

Human:

Is there anything You cannot do? Is my situation too hard for You to handle Lord?

The Lord:

"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27) NIV

“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

“For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37)

Human:
Lord, my problems are weighing me down even though I pray, and I don’t know what to do anymore. So, what should I do?

The Lord:

"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)

"If you love me, keep my commandments.

"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!" (John 14:13-14)

“…. at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:10-11)

Human:
Lord, I know You, I serve You and nothing seems to have changed with my prayers. Why me?

The Lord:

“The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.” (Psalm 34:19)

Human:
I have read that verse several times! What next?

The Lord:

...."Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you”. (Matthew: 17:20)

"But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do." (James 1:6-8)

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him" (Hebrews: 11. 6)

Human:

I trust in You Lord, and I pray in faith. What else should I do?

The Lord:
"But this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting." (Matthew 17:21)

Human:
Lord, I faithfully combine fasting with my prayer.

The Lord:

For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; and being in readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience will be made full. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

"Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7) NLT

Human:

Or could it be my sins?

The Lord:

“If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.” (Psalm 130:3)

“he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.” (Psalm 103:10)

"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

Human:

But Lord, You know Your Word in Proverbs 13:12 reads:

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life."
I feel like You have forgotten me!

The Lord:
".... weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5b)

"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me." (Isaiah 49:15-16)

"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." (2 Peter 3:8)

Human:

But Lord, these problems are killing me! I feel like I can’t bear them anymore!

The Lord:

“You are trapped by the words of your mouth. You are ensnared with the words of your mouth.” (Proverbs 6:2)

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.  (Proverbs 18:21)

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you--they are full of the Spirit and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe." (John 6:63-64)

“Indeed, this is what the LORD says: “Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the plunder of a tyrant will be retrieved; I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children. I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh, and they will be drunk on their own blood, as with sweet wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” (Isaiah 49:25-26)

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:23)

“For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!” (Psalm 34:20)

“…pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.” (Proverbs 4:20)

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” (Proverbs 118:17)

Human:

Sincerely, Lord, sometimes, I am tired, and I feel like giving up!

The Lord:

“…. My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in your weakness….” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. …. those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  (Isaiah 40:29-31)

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3. because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." (James 1:2-4)

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." (Psalm 37:4-5)

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you."  (Psalm 84:11).

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” (Hebrews 10:35-39)

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." (Psalm 27:14)

Human:

But When Lord?

The Lord:

“…. At the time appointed I will return unto thee….” (Genesis 18:14a)

"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." (2 Peter 3:8)

Human:
Lord, I don’t understand.

The Lord:
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth…., and his understanding no one can fathom." (Isaiah 40:28)

“You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!” (John 5:39)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5)

Human:
But sometimes, I am scared Lord.

The Lord: My Word:

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)

Human:

What else should I do?

The Lord:

“Submit yourself then to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God, and He will come near to you….” (James 4:7-8)

"…. don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." (Matthew 6:34)

"…. Don’t be afraid; just believe." (Mark: 5:36).

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:10-17)

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20)

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Walk in line with His will. Guard your heart. Watch your words. God is faithful concerning His Word. He is faithful to you. God is able in all situations, only if you persistently believe and obey. It doesn’t matter the situation, God will forever be God. He is unchangeable, His Word is unchangeable; They are Yes and Amen!

Blessings!
