Cry Out!

During circumcision or ear piercing it is natural for babies to cry out. Sometimes the pain may be so deep that after making some initial sounds, the baby with mouth open deep in pain; may not produce sounds from the mouth, even though the lips may be moving. This is similar to the cry of the heart.

Hannah’s heart cried out to God in 1st Samuel 1:10-20.  Only her lips were moving, but there was no voice, such that Pastor Eli thought she was drunk. When he understood her pain, he blessed her, the heavens opened for her. Her voice though inaudible on earth, was clearly audible in heaven – even a contrite or broken heart will I hear and save… Her cry was heard.

David said in Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to those who are of a broken heart and saves such as are crushed with sorrow for sin and are humbly and thoroughly penitent.

Feel free to cry out to God with the whole of your heart. God sees the reins – the thoughts - of your heart.

Jesus said in Revelation 2:23 And all the assemblies (churches) shall recognize and understand that I am He Who searches minds (the thoughts, feelings, and purposes) and the [inmost] hearts, and I will give to each of you [the reward for what you have done] as your work deserves.

As you cry to Him, may you be heard like Hannah and David; may the heavens open for you; in Jesus mighty name! Amen!!

Cry out!

Blessings.
