Don't rely on the fake

Are you standing on reliable ground? Is it shaky? Can you be swept off easily?

The West Caribbean Airways Flight 708 which crashed in the mountainous regions of north-west Venezuela on Tuesday, 16 August 2005 is usually tagged as the ‘plane that flew too high’. Planes are designed to fly, however, based on the build and circumstances encountered by the McDonnell Douglas MD-82; investigators adjudged that: (i) the plane flew too high for the weight it was carrying, (ii) the pilot misinterpreted the signals he was getting and acted erroneously which led to the crash, and (iii) the pilot also ignored the correct diagnosis and suggestions of his co-pilot: his helper.

You have been designed to fly (Isaiah 40:31); God is determined to help you to fly (Exodus 19:5) within the limits of His designed plan and purpose for your life. It is important to always take heed to what your helper – the Holy Spirit is saying to avoid crashing on the mountains and oceans of life.

As you listen to the dictates of the Holy Spirit, guided by the word of God, constantly communing in the place of prayer, you are strengthened to discern the right signals and respond appropriately, then the fake, attractive pull of false distracting signals – lust of the eyes, carnal desires of the flesh and the pride of life or misinterpretation will not be able to crash your destiny.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

May you wait constantly on the Lord, listening to the Holy Spirit, obeying Him and the word of God and may fake signals not send you out of the paths of life in Jesus name! May you correctly interpret situations and act appropriately in Jesus name! May your glorious destiny be preserved in Jesus mighty name! Amen! Amen!! and Amen!!! in Jesus name!

Peace!
