The Hands of the Almighty

Prayers

1. Father, let your hands guide me, teach me, and lead me into your eternal glory in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, by your hands, cause me to succeed in life and glorify your name in the name of Jesus.

It is my prayer that:

May the mighty hands of God guide you and give you enduring and enriching victory, now and always in the name of Jesus.

Text: Psalm 89:13

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. (KJV)

You have a mighty arm; Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand. (NKJV)

You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted. (NASB)

The hand of the Lord as used in both the old and the new testaments, expresses the power, might, wisdom, potential, ability, mercy, judgement on the wicked or disobedient and eternal grace.

What are some things the Hands of the Almighty can do for you?

1. The hand of God can bring discomfort to your adversaries. The Mighty Hands of God sprinkled ashes/dust into the air towards the heavens and it became boil in the bodies of the Egyptians. The hands of Moses represented the hands of God, hence:

By raising of his/His hands the red sea parted and the children of Israel crossed the hindering red sea into their promised land of peace, abundance, and joy.

2. God can build what you need. Since the hands of God built the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1-2), He can build what you need since His hands/The hand of the Almighty creates.

3. The Lord upholds with His hand. According to Psalm 37:

23The steps of a good man are [d]ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

May God order your steps so you will not slip, stumble nor fall into a pit in the name of Jesus.

May you not be cast down in the name of Jesus.

May God uphold you with His powerful hand in the name of Jesus.

4. The Spirit of God made you and me and His breath has given us life. The Bible says in Job 33:4 that: The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

God made you and He can and He will sustain you by His hands in Jesus name.

5. The hand of the Almighty sustains and upholds.

May God sustain you in Jesus mighty name.

6. God’s hands afflict your enemies until they restore what they have stolen and destroys their idols and evil powers. In 1 Samuel 5:6-11, the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines, the people of Ashdod and their god, Dagon. The hand of God afflicted them, shattered Dagon to pieces and restored the lost ark to Israel, so much so that the Philistines confessed that the hand of the Lord was against them and had done marvelous things.

May the Lord’s hands handle your enemies until they restore to you and yours what they have taken from you and yours in Jesus name.

May the gods and powers empowering and sustaining your adversaries be shattered to pieces by the mighty hands of God in the name of Jesus.

7. God’s hands can stop the enemy from invading your land (health, wealth, home, family, academics, career, ministry etc.) The Bible states in 1 Samuel 7:13 that:13So the Philistines were subdued, and they stopped invading the territory of Israel. And the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

May God’s mighty hand subdue your enemies and stop them from invading your lands in Jesus’ name.

8. God’s hands can deliver you from terrible oppression, bondage, and captivity. His mighty hand can set you free even when your oppressor is unwilling to let you go. The Bible attests to this in the following verses:

Exodus 3:20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.

Exodus 32:11 Then Moses pleaded with the LORD his God, and said: “LORD, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

God did deliver His people from terrible oppression and slavery.

May God deliver you and yours from every form of oppression, bondage, and captivity in Jesus’ name.

9. God’s words will always come to pass. He has immense innate ability to bring to pass every promise He has made. God does not lie (Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2)

In Numbers 11:23, the Bible says: The LORD said to Moses, “Is the LORD’S hand (ability, power) limited (short, inadequate)? You shall see now whether My word will come to pass for you or not.”

Has God said something to you and it seems it is not coming to pass or delayed? Remember that God is faithful. He has esteemed His Word above His name. He will surely bring it to pass by His powerful hand. If it tarries (delayed), do not be discouraged, wait for it, for it will not be delayed, it will surely come to pass. (Habakkuk 2:1-3)

10.God’s hands can heal, perform signs and wonders, and save souls

Acts 4:28-30 28For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. 29And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. ; 11:20-21 20And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus. 21And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

May God heal you and yours where you need healing in Jesus’ name.

May the signs and wonders you need come your way today in the name of Jesus.

May the merciful hand of God save unsaved souls today in the name of Jesus.

Having the hands of the Almighty work in your favor involves:

· Being born again (Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10)

For the wicked, Satan stands at their right hand – Satan working through them and controlling their actions and destiny. The Bible states in

Psalm 109:6 that 6Set a wicked man over him, And let an [a]accuser stand at his right hand.

If you do not want a wicked man to be set over you spiritually and physically, give the Lordship of your life over to Jesus and let Him be your Lord and savior.

· Being a student of the Bible (Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 2:15)

· Allowing the Holy Spirit be your Teacher and Guide (Romans 8:14-16)

· Being obedient to God (Leviticus 20:7, 11:44)

Note that for the righteous who abides in holiness and obedience, God delivers the righteous when satan stands at their right hand. In Zechariah 3, the Bible says: 1Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan^a standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2And the LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, O Satan! The LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand^b plucked from the fire?” 3Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clothed with filthy garments. 4And the angel said to those who were standing before him, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments.” 5And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD was standing by.

· Praying unrelenting and uncompromising prayers (2 Timothy 2:3-5; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Psalm 144:1, Psalm 35, Psalm 37)

Prayer:

1. Hands of the Almighty, deliver me where I need deliverance, heal me where I need healing in the name of Jesus.

3. Father, uphold me in you till the end in the name of Jesus.

4. Lord, meet me at the point of my needs, do not let me lack in the name of Jesus.

5. Father, let there be a seven-fold restoration of every good thing that has been stolen from me in the name of Jesus.

6. Lord do not allow the enemy to enter into my land anymore in the name of Jesus. There shall be no evil in my habitation in the name of Jesus.

7. Let my adversary fall into the pit they have dug for me and let every net they have spread for me catch their own feet in Jesus’ name.

8. I receive healing and deliverance from every sickness and difficult situation in Jesus’ name.

9. Father lay your hand of healing and deliverance on our loved ones with special needs in Jesus’ name.

10.My life and family are shielded with the blood of Jesus against every attack from the kingdom of darkness in Jesus’ name.

11.I receive the anointing of ease in my endeavors in Jesus’ name.

This year and beyond may the Hands of the Almighty justify you.

May the hands of the Almighty silence your detractors in the name of Jesus.

May the hands of the Almighty prevail over every evil power that wants to prevail over you in the name of Jesus.

May the Mighty Hands of God part every red sea of hindrances before you in Jesus’ name

May every hindrance to your marital settlement and peace give way in the name of Jesus.

May hindrances to your spiritual life and progress part now in the name of Jesus.

May demonic hindrances working against your career, business and financial progress melt away by fire in the name of Jesus.

May the hand of the Almighty give you peace, joy, fulfilment, blessings, and pleasures forevermore in the name of Jesus.
