Getting there - The Fulfillment

Prayers

1. Father, by mercy, deliver Ukraine and the nations from aggression and war in the name of Jesus.

2. Powers that want to prevent my rising and shining, scatter in the name of Jesus.

I pray that:

The Most High God will guide you, order your steps and enable you attain God’s plan for your life and destiny in the name of Jesus.

We thank God for bringing us into August the eighth month of this year.

By the Special grace of God, as you follow on with God, August, the eighth month will be for you:

· A season of arriving at the destination you have been seeking to get to

· A season of breakthroughs

· A season of fulfillment

· A season of victory

· A season of joy

· A season when God will arise and fight for you

· A season when God will arise to defend you

Text: Ezra 7:9

He had arranged to leave Babylon on April 8, the first day of the new year, and he arrived at Jerusalem on August 4, for the gracious hand of his God was on him.

Note that you should ensure/know that:

· Getting there – requires a clear identification of the end goal.

· Ensure the goal is rooted in God, so you do not run in vain or waste energy to realize at the end that it was as one beating the air – fighting battles you should not have been fighting, wasting time on things you should not have been wasting time on or depleting resources on what you should not deplete resources on, etc.

· Seeking God’s face to ensure that the goal is rooted in God.

1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2)

· Seeking God’s face is not a one-time activity. This is required at the onset, during, and even at the perceived end of goal accomplishment.

· Obtaining the plan and pattern from God. David obtained detailed plans of the temple building from God including the materials, dimensions of the building etc. In 1 Chronicles 28, the Bible says:

11Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the vestibule, its houses, its treasuries, its upper chambers, its inner chambers, and the place of the mercy seat; 12and the plans for all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the Lord, of all the chambers all around, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries for the dedicated things; 13also for the division of the priests and the Levites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and for all the articles of service in the house of the Lord. 14He gave gold by weight for things of gold, for all articles used in every kind of service; also silver for all articles of silver by weight, for all articles used in every kind of service; 15the weight for the lampstands of gold, and their lamps of gold, by weight for each lampstand and its lamps; for the lampstands of silver by weight, for the lampstand and its lamps, according to the use of each lampstand. 16And by weight he gave gold for the tables of the showbread, for each table, and silver for the tables of silver; 17also pure gold for the forks, the basins, the pitchers of pure gold, and the golden bowls—he gave gold by weight for every bowl; and for the silver bowls, silver by weight for every bowl; 18and refined gold by weight for the altar of incense, and for the construction of the chariot, that is, the gold cherubim that spread their wings and overshadowed the ark of the covenant of the Lord. 19“All this,” said David, “the Lord made me understand in writing, by His hand upon me, all the [b]works of these plans.”

· Obtain the timing, do not be overly worried about the time according to Habakkuk 2:3, it will not be delayed, it will not tarry, which means as you follow God, it will come to pass. Additionally, since to God a thousand years are as one day. Just remain prayerful, trusting, and walking with God in Obedience.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.

The zeal of the Lord of Host will work it out for you in the name of Jesus.

· Pursue after accomplishment with all that is within you. We see the attitude of Apostle Paul in goal pursuit in Philippians 3:12:

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. (KJV)

Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. (AMP)

· Finish strong in glory. Apostle Paul stated, as an encouragement to you and I in 2 Timothy 4 that:

6For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV)

6For I am already being [a]poured out as a drink offering, and the time of [b]my departure [from this world] is at hand and I will soon go free. 7I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith [firmly guarding the gospel against error]. 8In the future there is reserved for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day--and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing. (AMP)

May you finish well and finish strong in the name of Jesus.

May you keep the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ and not depart from the way of God in the planning, execution, and accomplishment of the goal in Jesus’ name.

Way forward

1. Be born again

2. Keep the faith

3. Be prayerful

4. Be obedient

5. Stay the course, no matter how challenging

Prayer:

Powers working to take me out of the way of God for my life, scatter unto desolation in the name of Jesus.

Hindrances to your progressive advancement shall melt away by fire in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord, help me to see, know, understand, and pursue the plans you have set for my life, family and destiny in the name of Jesus.

4. Father, help me to reach the goals you have ordained for my life and destiny in the name of Jesus.

5. The enemy will not hinder my glorious goal accomplishment in the name of Jesus.

6. I receive healing and deliverance from every sickness and difficult situation in Jesus’ name.

7. Father lay your hand of healing and deliverance on loved ones with special needs in Jesus’ name.

8. My life and family are shielded with the blood of Jesus against every attack from the kingdom of darkness in Jesus’ name.

9. I receive the anointing of ease in my endeavors in Jesus’ name.

10.Joy, peace, prosperity sound health and flourishing, come upon my life in the name of Jesus.

12.Give thanks.

In this month of August and beyond:

You will not see loss in the name of Jesus

you will not see disdain in the name of Jesus

you will not see lack in the name of Jesus

you will not see failure in the name of Jesus

you will not see rejection in the name of Jesus

you will not see demotion in the name of Jesus

you will not see stagnancy in the name of Jesus.

May you not see evil things in the name of Jesus.

May your eye see precious beneficial things in the name of Jesus.

Hindrances to your progressive movement shall melt away by fire in the name of Jesus.

The plans of the enemy to stop you in your tracks, movement and advancement shall fail in the name of Jesus.

You will not fizzle away like smoke in the name of Jesus.

You will get there.

You will reach your goal in Jesus’ name.
