Prayers
1. My high places of honor and fulfillment, manifest in Jesus’ name.
2. I will walk upon my destined high places by the power in the blood of Jesus.
Text: 2 Samuel 5
17 But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard of it, and went down to the hold.
18 The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
19 And David enquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the Lord said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.
20 And David came to Baalperazim, and David smote them there, and said, The Lord hath broken forth upon mine enemies before me, as the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baalperazim.
21 And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.
22 And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
23 And when David enquired of the Lord, he said, Thou shalt not go up; but fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.
24 And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the Lord go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.
25 And David did so, as the Lord had commanded him; and smote the Philistines from Geba until thou come to Gazer.
Note
v There are heavenly armies who can fight and do fight on earth.
v It is a disciplined army.
v The Lord Jesus Christ is the commander of the army.
The Bible states in Ex. 15:3 that The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
v The Lord fights for His people. The Bible states in Ex 14:14 that:
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. (NKJV)
The LORD will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.” (AMP)
v The Lord who is fighting for you is strong. He is not a weak God. In Psalm 24:8, the Bible states:
Who is this King of Glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
v There are captains in that army: The Bible states in Joshua 5:
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?
15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
v They can throw stones from above to kill the enemy, frighten the enemy and cause the ground to shake under the enemy (Joshua 10:10-11).
v They can turn the swords and weapons of the enemy against one another to make them destroy themselves (2 Chronicles 20).
When faced with a battle:
v Be watchful to know what the enemy is planning against you (v17). This requires watching and praying.
v Hide yourself from the enemy by hiding in the secret place of the Almighty under the shadow of His wings (Psalm 91:1-2) or in His palm or in His presence (Psalm 16:11)
v Inquire of the Lord for next steps (v19).
v Follow what the Lord tells you to do (v20-21)
v Let the heavens fight for you by engaging the Lord of hosts through prayer.
v The enemy may come again, stay on your guard (v22).
v Again, ask the Lord for the battle plan as it may be different from your known approaches, your experience or your thinking (v23). In this case, the Lord gave a different battle plan.
The Lord of hosts and His armies will March above to discomfit your enemies, go before you and give you victory in Jesus’ name.
v Follow the leading of the Lord as you engage in battle (V24).
v Let the Lord fight for you- note the words...”and let it be.
v Do as commanded and you will have victory in Jesus mighty name.
Prayer
1. Father, send out your heavenly armies to fight my battles in Jesus’ name.
2. I will not fail, I will not fall, I will not falter in the name of Jesus.

12.Corona viruses go out of our community and nation by the power in the blood of Jesus.
13.Infirmities expire out of my life and the life of my loved one(s) and family members in Jesus’ name.
14.Body parts that need replacement, be replaced and begin to function properly
15.in Jesus’ name.
16.I recover my lost wealth, business, and opportunities by the power in the blood of Jesus.
17.Spiritual and physical thieves give up what you have stolen from me and my family by the power in the blood of Jesus.
18.Lay your hand on your head or any part of your body or the body of your loved ones that requires the healing touch of God as we pray: PRAYER
19.Give thanks.
