This implies that there is a house, there is something in the house with a potential to provide food and medicine, but was lying dormant and useless. Experts state that figs is used for making medicine used in the treatment of constipation, diabetes etc. According to Webmd, the : Ø Fig FRUIT is used as a laxative to relieve constipation. Ø Fig LEAF is used for diabetes, high cholesterol, and skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and vitiligo. Ø Some people apply the milky sap (LATEX) from the tree directly to the skin to treat skin tumors and warts.
• The donkey represents an agent of advancement, the thing that will propel an individual into his or her God ordained greatness • However, for many it is lying dormant unused • Some have not been able to locate their donkey • Therefore they cannot be celebrated or arrive at their glorious destination – their God ordained Jerusalem • For some their donkey has been stolen • This is a very serious matter. • Some have not connected to heaven to know where their donkey is tied and are busy wasting their time in fruitless efforts wasting time in the wrong place searching for their enablers of destiny. • Praying God will lead you to where your donkey and colt have been tied up. • For some they know where their donkey is tied but they don’t know how to get there. • Some are shown how to get there, but due to satanic hindrances they cannot get there • Some get there and are not able to loose their donkey • Some loose it but are unable to take it with them for their use • Some take it with them but are unable to ride them • Some have donkey but cannot use them on their own - ask Mephibosheth. • Some ride their donkeys, but they do not arrive at their Jerusalem. Their donkeys go elsewhere. • Timing is key: Saul received bread at the exact time and location he was supposed to receive bread. A man from Baalshalisha brought much needed bread to Elisha and his disciples in the time of famine. Jesus gave his disciples instructions and they met a man carrying water pots who took them to where they were supposed to go. • Some princes are walking barefooted and their slaves are riding on donkeys they are supposed to be riding on. In Matthew 21:18-22, Jesus cursed a fig tree, the effects of the curse was seen rapidly. How fast can curses run? How can curses be avoided? What can be done to address curses? In Matthew 21:23 -27, Jesus answered the question of detractors and challengers with questions inspired by the wisdom of God. How do you address demonic challenges to your authority and stance? I realize that as: • The Authority of Jesus was questioned. • People, situations and demons will challenge my authority and your authority (Sonship) in God. – In Matthew 4:3,5; the devil challenged Jesus twice with: “If you are the son of God”, he will challenge you and I as we the servants and followers of Jesus are not greater than our master Jesus (John 15:20). – Notwithstanding the challenges and trials, I belong to God and God loves me unconditionally, the same way He loves Jesus (John 1:12-13, 2 Timothy 2:19). • People and situations will challenge your faith (1 Peter 4:12-16, Mark 13:22). Understand that: • We have been given the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12, Colossians 2:10). • You do not have to answer their question or play their game/dice. • You can fulfill Gods plan without following the plan of the world or their expectations of you. – Consider Michael Dell who went against the popular approach to build the Dell Computer company in terms of service, guarantee and delivery. – Consider Bill Gates who followed what he believed even though rejected by the giants of his day – IBM – and became stronger than IBM. • Jesus was declared to be the son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness (Romans 1:4). – God’s declaration about you stands notwithstanding what you feel or do not feel. – Whether I feel or think I am a man or woman, God created me a male man. He created others a female man. (Genesis 1:26-27, 5:2) My response/Your response: • Keep quiet as much as possible to let God speak for you and on your behalf (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12). • This may be difficult initially, but try your best. • The natural tendency is to want to answer back. • Jesus resisted the temptation of answering back • He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. (1 Peter 1:23) • Don’t allow the prosecution – your persecutor - destroy your integrity as a credible witness. • Once the prosecution destroys the integrity and image of the defense witness as a credible witness, the watertight defense case is busted like a bubble. • The Pharisees tried this with Jesus and Jesus categorically stated that His testimony/witness is true.
