Where will you run to?

And he was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beer-Sheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there (1 Kings 19:3).

• Where do you run to when things get bad?
• Who do you call when things go bad? Which number do you dial?
• Where is your comfort zone? Where would you rather be?
• If the answer to any of these is not God, then you need to make some changes – even when God does not make sense.

When Elijah ran to Beer-Sheba: his place of comfort he did not find God there. He had to take further steps before meeting with God.

This week, may you see God, may you have an encounter with God as seek God. As you find Him and rest in God, may God’s love and comfort overshadow you this week! May every cause of fear and running from difficult situations be addressed this week in Jesus name!

"In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you (Isaiah 54:14).

May God’s strength prevail on your behalf in every situation in Jesus name! Do have a blessed week!
